The silver Evolution 50CD from Creek is a high resolution Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) with an integrated slot-loading CD player and wireless IR remote. The unit features a total of 6 digital inputs (including the CD player), 2 digital outputs, and a remote control (RC) bus for connecting to other EVO 50 products. The DAC features two top-grade Wolfson 24-bit 192 kHz ICs, running in double differential mode to extract the maximum performance possible. The two SPDIF and two TOSLINK digital inputs are capable of reading digital signal resolutions up to 24-bit 192 kHz, while the USB input is capable of 24-bit 96 kHz and is Mac/PC compatible without the need for additional drivers.
