User manual for the For.A MFR 5000 3G/HD/SD/ASI/AES/Data Routing Switcher MFR-96X96
The user manual for the For.A MFR 5000 3G/HD/SD/ASI/AES/Data Routing Switcher MFR-96X96 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Signal Processing & Distribution - Routers & Switchers.
The For-A MFR 5000 3G/HD/SD/ASI/AES/Data Routing Switcher (96 x 96) with enhanced configuration enables installation of up to 8 input/output boards, and hence matrices of up to 96 inputs and 96 outputs can be configured. Automatic recognition of each signal minimizes the need of differentiating between different types of signal.
Multiple linking between units enables the routing switcher to link up to 10 units. Cross point considerations enable configuration of 1024 inputs to have a maximum of 32 outputs and 256 outputs to have a maximum of 256 inputs. The remote control unit allows a maximum of 96 units to be connected, and it is possible to combine multiple remote control panels to make it operate as a large-scale control panel.
The routing switcher offers enhanced technology and functions such as CPU board redundancy (option), power source redundancy (option), network redundancy (option), distributed control, triple back-up, direct control of main unit that minimizes redundancies. Matrix partition function allows virtual partitioning of routing switcher that enables it to be used in various operating forms such as fully independent switcher, v/key linking switcher, 3D switcher, and HD/SD simul-switcher.
Features such as 2-channel reference input (with loopthrough) and input image capture function are supported by the routing switcher. It also allows remote monitoring with SNMP support.
