The Aluminum Monopod with Spreader from Glidetrack is a 5-section sturdy support for cameras or gear weighing 17.6 lb or less. It can reach a maximum height of 57.9" and folds down to 20.1". It has a reversible 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded stud so you can attach an optional head, or mount your camera directly to the monopod.
At the base of this monopod are three fold-out spreader legs with rubber tips and spring-loaded locking mechanisms. The spreader can either be unlocked to enable the monopod to swivel and move freely, or locked, so that the monopod will stand upright.
