Konus's 9x63 Proximo Binocular features a relatively low magnification coupled with BAK4 roof prisms and large anti-reflection multicoated objectives to create an optic with excellent light-gathering abilities and a generous wide-angle field of view. The exceptionally large objectives make the Proximo ideally suited for wide-field astronomical observations or terrestrial glassing especially at dawn and dusk when animals tend to be most active but light is limited.
