The gold Perforated Aluminum Diffuser from Mola is lightweight and unbreakable. It allows light to be redirected from the flash tube back into the reflector. It works in the same way as the standard PAD, except that the color corrects the silver interior reflectors to a warm color temperature, which closely matches the standard white interior reflectors. This allows you to mix silver and white interior reflectors without large shifts in color temperature between sources.
