The MuxLab 500721 Active HD CCTV Receiver Balun provides extended distance between an HD-SDI CCTV camera and an HD-SDI DVR via CAT5e/CAT6 cable (sold separately). It supports transmission up to 150’ (45m) via CAT5e cable and up to 200’ (60m) via CAT6 cable at HD resolution (720p, 1080i). The balun supports the transmission of SDI digital video signal (including embedded audio and/or time code) within facilities and between video equipment. It is installed at the receiver location and used in conjunction with the 500720 HD CCTV Pass-Thru Balun or 500720-CL HD CCTV Pass-Thru Balun with Cable Leads installed at the remote camera location. Furthermore, the balun allows remote power and 2-wire PTZ control to be combined with HD-SDI video over the same CAT5e/CAT6 for optimized cabling. This receiver balun can be used at campuses, airports, hotels, casinos, commercial complexes, residential establishments, self-storage, hospitals, and car dealerships.
