The Mercury On-The-Go Pro 1TB Hard Drive from Other World Computing is a 1TB portable hard drive with a variety of connection options, including FireWire 800/400 and USB 3.0. This hard drive is compatible with both Mac and PC machines as well as backwards compatible with USB 2.0 making it both compact and versatile. The drive features a fanless design for near silent operation. A variety of included cables allow you to begin using your hard drive right out of the box. The included USB cable gives you the ability to connect to systems with either a USB 3.0 or 2.0 port. The drive comes preformatted for Mac OS X systems and can be easily reformatted for a Windows system. Once connected, the OWC hard drive contains both backup and utility software allowing you to easily create complete system backups.
