This compact meter fits into your Android or iOS device's 3.5mm headphone jack, where it measures the wind's speed and direction. A free companion app lets you view results and store readings for later use, and the data can also be used with additional WeatherFlow apps.
The WINDmeter can detect winds from 2 - 125 mph with ±0.5% accuracy as calibrated by the Aerospace Engineering department of the University of Florida. It measures average, gust, apparent, and true windspeeds, magnetic and true wind direction, as well as crosswinds, headwinds, and tailwinds.
