Combining advanced features with simple operation, the ACTIVEON CX Gold is an action camera suitable for users of all levels. It is equipped with a 16MP Sony CMOS sensor that supports Full HD 1920 x 1080 video up to 60 fps, 720p video up to 120 fps for slow-motion playback, and still images up to 16MP. It can also record standard definition video at 240 fps for super slow-motion playback. For convenient monitoring and settings adjustment the camera features a built-in 2" rear touchscreen LCD screen and a user-friendly, graphics-based UI. The camera is also Wi-Fi enabled, allowing you to remotely control and monitor the camera from your iOS or Android mobile device using the available ACTIVEON app. Advanced features offered by the camera include automatic time-lapse video, manual settings control, digital image stabilization, and programmed recording modes to set your camera up for different environments and activities.
Designed to go where the action is, the CX Gold is compact, lightweight, and waterproof to depths of 131' feet using the included waterproof housing. To capture all of the action in front of you, the camera is equipped with an ultra-wide f/2.4 lens with six aspherical glass elements with a 170° angle of view. When that ultra-wide fish-eye viewing angle isn't right for the shot at hand, you can also choose from Wide (140°), Medium (110°), and Narrow (70°) FOV options. Recorded videos and photos are stored to microSD memory cards. A micro-HDMI port is provided for viewing your content on your HDTV, with a mini-USB port available for transferring files to your computer. The USB port also provides a way to charge the included 1100mAh battery, which enables approximately two hours of continuous recording when fully charged. The camera also comes with a quick-release buckle, thumbscrew, open backdoor for the waterproof housing, curved adhesive mount, and a USB cable.
