With the 5-Way Optimization feature, the motherboard provides better system performance by delivering precision power and intelligently controls the fans to ensure everything stays cool, while also offering everyday energy savings. Utilizing the motherboard's M.2 or SATA Express connector, which transfers data up to 10 Gb/s, with a high-performance SSD, allows the system run to faster by installing the operating system and frequently used programs on the drive.
The integrated Intel GPU delivers smooth video streams and high-resolution graphics to a display via the DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D, or VGA port. When more graphics power is needed, this motherboard is outfitted with three PCI Express x16 slots for supporting multiple dedicated graphics cards in either SLI or CrossFireX configurations. In addition, there are two PCIe 2.0 x1 slots and one PCI slot. To complete the multimedia experience, Realtek Audio ALC892 features Crystal Sound 2 technology using Japanese-made capacitors and an amplifier to provide clarity and fidelity when listening to music or movies.
This motherboard has four SATA III 6 Gb/s connectors along with a variety of ports that include two USB 3.1 ports, four USB 3.0 ports, one PS/2 combo port, five audio jacks, and one Optical S/PDIF digital audio out port. For network connectivity, it offers a Gigabit Ethernet port that provides a reliable and fast connection to the Internet.
