The RE4000W Dual-Band Wireless-N Range Extender from Linksys is a range extender capable of extending current wireless networks at a distance of up to 1,000' (300 m) as it features 802.11 a/b/g/n compatibility and can function on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. In addition to wireless connectivity, you can also take advantage of two Fast Ethernet ports for a reliable wired connection.
This dual-band range extender comes with one reset and one Wi-Fi Protected Setup button allowing you to reset the device and connect new devices to the network. You can also monitor the status of the network as the RE4000W comes with one power/Wi-Fi Protected Setup LED and one Ethernet LED. Once configured, the network can easily be secured using up to 128-bit WPA2, WPA, and WEP encryption keys.
