Remotely keep an eye on game trails or other thoroughfares with the second generation Moultrie A-5 Trail Camera. An easy to aim motion sensor features an LED light to indicate when the unit is triggered and has a 40' range. The camera has a 1.5 second trigger speed to capture subjects as they pass. There is a user-selectable burst mode that can take 3 pictures per triggering event to more effectively capture the animal's direction of travel or identify unique individuals. You can also choose to take 10 second video clips in 640 x 480 resolution. A 12-LED near-infrared flash with a 50' range ensures you get clear pictures even at night. Data stamping marks each picture with moon phase, time, and date to help pattern your subject's movements. The A5 accepts SD memory cards up to 32GB, which are available separately.
It runs on 8 AA batteries, which are also not included. This camera's engineering features an external power port for the optional PowerPanel solar panel, AC Adapter or Battery Box for longer run times out in the field. This unit attaches to a tree with a strap, or to a tripod with the 1/4"-20 mount built-in to the bottom.
