User manual for the Ortery 3D PhotoBench 160 - 360 Product Photography 3DPB-160
The user manual for the Ortery 3D PhotoBench 160 - 360 Product Photography 3DPB-160 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Lighting & Studio - Tabletop Shooting - Shooting Tents & Table Kits.
The Ortery 3D PhotoBench 160 is a software-controlled photography studio for eCommerce product photography. It features a 21.5" transparent rotational platform with a 33 lb weight capacity, and allows you to take up to 16.5 x 22" top shots, 16.5 x 22 x 22" side shots, and 11.25 x 11.25 x 22" 360° shots, with daylight LED studio lighting coming from the bottom, back, and four corners. The lighting system is dimmable and creates a white background when dialed all the way in one direction, so you can shoot your images on pure white or transparent backgrounds. The included control software (Mac/Win) will allow you to see real-time previews, make adjustments such as pre-cropping, remotely control compatible Canon and Nikon cameras via USB connection, and perform batch image processing, editing, and saving. (Nikon cameras are only supported when you use the software on a Windows computer.) You can even go a step further and incorporate optional 3rd-party remote desktop access software, such as Splashtop, to mimic the UI of the desktop on a tablet so you can get up close to the PhotoBench when you do all this.
The workflow is simple -- just place your product inside, connect your camera via USB cable, and then use the software to compose and take pictures, and you quickly get web- and print-ready product shots in RAW, JPG, TIFF, or PNG format, as well as 360° product views in HTML5, Flash, or GIF. You can connect up to three Canon cameras via USB cables and achieve a fully-automated capture process. (The software supports only one Nikon camera at a time.) Multiple camera capture can only be done on Windows computers.
Also included is the Ortery TruView stitching software (Windows-only), which lets you turn sequences of JPG images into interactive 360° product views with image tags, hyperlinks, and audio. Customers will be able to drag the 360° animation in all directions with a mouse and zoom deep into it from any angle.
