With the same basic features as the Pelican 3600, but enhanced with a recoil LED the 3610 Little ED Recoil LED Flashlight from Pelican features an innovative lens ring that glows in the dark regardless of its battery charge. The photoluminescent material in the plastic absorbs the energy from any light source, including fluorescent lights, the sun, and even the flashlight's own beam. So never again will you be fumbling in the dark for your flashlight because it will be lit up in the darkness. That is, as long as the material in the lens shroud had been exposed to light beforehand.
The flashlight itself is powered by the included 4x AA alkaline batteries. It is submersible to 500 feet, and has an ABS resin body which resists chemicals, corrosion, and extreme temperatures. Its simple on / off switch is conveniently placed just below the head, and right where your hand will be when holding the light like a hammer--aiming the beam forward 90° from the body.
