The Plantronics BackBeat PRO Wireless Headphones with Mic allow you to make telephone calls and listen to your music from up to two multi-point connected devices such as a smartphone or tablet. The headphones utilize 40mm drivers to deliver Plantronic's signature sound with a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz. The Bluetooth system uses the A2DP profile for high-quality audio with a transmission range of 330' and a continuous streaming time of 24 hours off a single charge.
A set of external microphones can be used for active noise cancellation of background sounds or to mix external sound into the audio signal so you can talk to people or hear the environment without having to remove the headphones. Active noise cancellation can also be engaged for up to 60 hours without music playback when the listener requires quiet.
Smart sensor technology automatically detects when the headphone are placed on the head or around the neck and can pause/play the music or answer calls accordingly. Audible status alerts such as for battery level or Bluetooth connectivity are provided in 14 different languages (US English, UK English, Cantonese, Danish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Norwegian, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish).
The headphones come with a ballistic nylon carrying sleeve, a USB-charging cable, and a right-angle 1/8" (3.5mm) audio cable with iOS in-line microphone and remote for situations when the Bluetooth battery has run out and you want to continue listening to music or making calls. The remote also supports play/pause on Android devices.
