The a6000 features a 24.3MP APS-C Exmor APS HD CMOS Sensor and BIONZ X Image Processor for high-resolution still photos, full HD 1080p AVCHD video at 24/60 fps, low-light sensitivity to ISO 25600, and continuous shooting at up to 11 fps. It's also equipped with a 3.0" 921k-dot Xtra Fine tilting LCD monitor and a Tru-Finder 0.39", 1.44m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder. Additionally, enjoy built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with support for NFC-enabled devices, allowing for remote camera control and image transfer to linked mobile devices. The camera offers both a Multi-Interface Shoe and a built-in flash.
Included with the camera body is a Sony E-mount 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Retractable Zoom Lens, which provides a 24-75mm equivalent focal length range. Optical SteadyShot image stabilization minimizes the appearance of camera shake for clear, blur-free shots, and Power Zoom technology allows for electronic control over the zoom position. The inclusion of one extra-low dispersion element and four aspherical elements helps to reduce chromatic aberrations throughout the zoom range, while increasing overall sharpness, clarity and contrast. Also included in the kit is the long-reaching 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS lens, which covers an 82.5-315mm equivalent focal length range. This lens, too, offers Optical SteadyShot image stabilization and features two extra-low dispersion elements and one aspherical element in its design to control aberrations and distortions.
